ASME SA213 Sanicro 25 22Cr25NiWCoCu Austenitic Stainless Steel for Steam Boilers

Yuhong Group's Sanicro 25 is an austenitic 22Cr25NiWCoCu stainless steel material with excellent high-temperature properties designed for use in advanced pulverised coal steam boilers.

The new heat-resistant steel, SA-213 S31035 (22Cr25Ni3W3CuCoNbN), is currently recognized as one of the main candidate materials for power plants due to its exceptional strength.

The results of the creep tests demonstrated that S31035 steel exhibits significantly higher creep strength compared to S30432 steel, with an extrapolated creep rupture strength of approximately 118.0 MPa after 50,000 hours at 700°C. Additionally, it displayed excellent fracture toughness, with a fracture surface contraction exceeding 50%. The exceptional creep strength of S31035 steel is attributed to the combined precipitation strengthening of nanoscale Cu-rich phases, acicular Laves phases, and secondary Z phases.
